The medical expenses are high each month just for basics (yearly shots for 32 cats, check-ups for the elderly cats, glucose curves for our diabetic cat, medicines for those with chronic illnesses) and it is a rare month that we do not have a vet emergency visit of one sort or another. Our wonderful veterinarians at Austin Vet Hospital have set up an account to accept direct donations for the D.A.R.A. Sanctuary. You can simply call and donate:

If you donate by clicking on the Paypal button, you can specify that you would like your donation to go toward the care and maintenance of a particular kitty. It can be a one-time donation or you can elect to send a little help and comfort to the kitty of your choice every month.

It is as easy as clicking on the Paypal donation button to make a contribution toward the needs of the animals at our sanctuary. Food, litter, medical, and other daily needs are an on-going expense and, literally, every dollar helps tremendously.

We've always, personally, met the expenses on our own, but for the first time in our 25 years of rescuing, we are asking for a little bit of help.
